The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group received a ‘Good’ grade overall, and a ‘Strong’ for our contribution to meeting regional and national skills needs.

Our Merger Journey

As a new, combined institution, the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group was formed following the merger of Selby College and Wakefield College and the formation of Castleford College on 1^st March 2022. The Group now serves the education and skills needs of the Yorkshire region from its campuses in Castleford, Selby and Wakefield.
