Sixth Form

Our Sixth Form provides a stepping stone between school and university and prepares you for further study or employment.

We offer a distinctive learning experience for students in our Sixth Form across our wide range of A Level programmes.

We base our A Level programmes on facilitating and stimulating subjects, ensuring students have the skills and knowledge which are in demand by universities and employers. This, as well as our wrap-around support for our students, has led many of them to secure places at a range of Russell Group universities and prosperous careers.

We achieved a 99.5% pass rate for A Levels in 2024, with 39% of students achieving high-grades (A*-B). In 2024, 15 out of 16 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate including History, Geography, English Language, Chemistry and Business.

Modern, spacious and safe. There are a variety of social spaces on campus, including our onsite Coffee Shop which proudly serves Starbucks coffee – providing students with a space to relax, grab a drink and meet with friends. Our Refectory also serves a range of delicious food and drink. Additionally, there is an on-site gym open to staff and students, for those wanting to improve their fitness.

Facilities

We have state-of-the-art facilities at the Sixth Form Centre in the Academy building. It has dedicated classrooms and spaces for all learners as well as our fully stocked library and Student Central. We also have specialised science laboratories, sports facilities, and an Art, Design, Photography and Media centre. Sports students have access to a fitness testing lab, therapy and massage suite and pitches as well as a gym which is offered to all students.
