Course Overview

The Level 1 Body Repair Course is ideal for individuals who are passionate about vehicles and eager to start a career in the automotive repair industry. This course is designed for those who enjoy hands-on learning and want to develop practical skills in vehicle body repair. 

With state-of-the-art facilities and highly experienced staff, students will receive exceptional training that combines both practical and theoretical learning. Additionally, students will continue studying GCSE Maths and English if needed, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.

What You Will Study

On this course, students will cover a range of essential topics focused on vehicle body repair. Key concepts include health and safety in the workplace, tools and equipment for body repair, and vehicle construction. Students will learn about vehicle damage assessment, metal preparation, panel removal and refitting, and minor panel damage repairs.

This blend of practical and theoretical learning ensures students gain a comprehensive understanding of vehicle body repair, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the automotive repair industry.

You will be assessed through practical tasks in the workshops and completion of portfolio work and end of unit exams.

GCSE Grade 9-2 in English and Maths.

On successful completion and with the required English and Maths grades you can progress through the levels.
