Course Overview

This course is designed for students who have completed the Level 2 Certificate in Motor Vehicle Studies and are ready to further develop their practical and technical skills. It builds on previous learning with a deeper focus on mechanical systems and fault diagnosis. Students will learn how to identify and diagnose simple faults, apply structured problem-solving techniques, and carry out more advanced inspection and repair tasks.

The course covers all key areas of vehicle systems, with an emphasis on developing a broader understanding of how each system functions and interacts. This qualification is ideal for those looking to progress into employment, an apprenticeship, or further study.
